In 2009 a new live tournament series will be introduced with a focus towards non-professional poker players. While other poker tournaments increase their buy-in so that the cost of entering a tournament is equivalent to buying a small car, the European Masters of Poker
is a live poker tournament series that focuses on the thrill of competing against fellow poker players and socialize with old and new friends.
With a buy-in of €1000+100 on each stop, the European Masters of Poker
is easy to qualify to and has a relatively cheap direct buy-in. The estimated starting field of 200-400 participants offers you a good chance of taking home the first prize consisting of €50,000 to €100,000 and an EMOP trophy.
That is not all, the European Masters of Poker
also arranges a leaderboard with cash prizes to those players that outperform the competition. Each player’s best three results are counted towards the leaderboard. The overall winner will walk away with an healthy additional cash prize and a watch worth €10,000*.
